1. Music for Dance
This presentation
covers
an introduction to music for dance, what makes music suitable for dance,
dance features, examples of music for dance all with sound file examples
and instruments with interactive sounds attached including disco with
the instruments commonly used in disco music, Bhangra , native North
American, electronic dance music, Samba, Pavanne and Galliard, Waltz,
Salsa and Swing.
2. Music around the World
This presentation includes styles of music, where in the world quiz with
sound files for the students to match, interactive world music map
linked to music styles around the world including English folk, punk,
Gamelan, Traditional Indian, Hip Hop, Minyo, Aboriginal
